A Brief History of Dan Henskee
Dan Henskee is one of the actual searchers on the island since 1972... he is one of the most knowledgeable people in the world in regard to the amazing search for the secret of Oak Island. The following is a brief glimpse of Dan.
Dan did well in school at math and science but did not become and engineer or scientist... he took an interest in psychology and political ethics but did not pursue this either. Instead he learned of Oak Island at age 25 while reading a Readers Digest article in 1964.
After visiting the island in 1965 he became actively involved in the "search activities" in May of 1972 and continued to be involved until August 1995, since which time there have been no operations conducted in the field by the Oak Island Exploration Company.
Although hampered by some health problems, he is gradually preparing material for a book to be written about the many unsuccessful efforts that have been made on Oak Island and the unusual people who have been making these efforts.
